No threat to BJP govt in HP: CM

Shimla, August 10 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Wednesday slammed the Opposition Congress for bringing a no-confidence motion against his government in the assembly, saying: "It was brought with motive of publicity stunt by the frustrating opposition which have no strategic plan against the ruling party and remained in the headlines in the media."
Thakur was addressing media persons outside the state assembly on the issue. CM said that there is no rationale behind the opposition to come up with such a motion as the state government is stable and there is no threat to his government.
He said that opposition members did not raise any specific issue against the move which itself made clear that it is just to get media glare as opposition is isolated and it wanted to seek more attention.
