Lucknow, Oct 15 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh on Thursday said that when the lockdown was imposed in the state, critical health services were affected, but as the lockdown measures were eased, services like immunisation, Nutrition Rehabilitation Centres, SNCUs and NICU for newborns had resumed.
'RMNCH+A services are prioritised, as people had earlier faced issues in accessing these services. From October 1, Dastak Abhiyaan, which was earlier a drive to identify JE/AES cases, will now also identify TB, LF and VL cases.
'Active case finding drives for TB patients are also starting from November 2. Since the lockdown also affected small businesses and livelihoods of daily wagers and caused many to migrate,' he added.
