Lucknow, Aug 26 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj Minister Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary has become the 11th Minister of the Yogi Adityanath government to test positive for the novel coronavirus.
Mr Chaudhary put out a tweet on Wednesday informing that he has been afflicted by the virus. He said, "On noticing the initial symptoms of corona, I got myself tested and my report came back positive. I am getting admitted to a hospital on the advice of the doctors. I request anyone, who has recently come in contact with me, to self-isolate and get themselves tested."
Earlier, 10 other Ministers had tested positive for COVID-19 and two among them also succumbed to the contagion.
