Lucknow, Jul 9 (UNI) With the spike in corona cases in Uttar Pradesh, the state government on Thursday announced that lockdown will be imposed from Friday night to 0500 hours on Monday in the entire state. However, essential services will be allowed during the period.

State Chief secretary R K Tiwari, in a fresh directive on Thursday night, asked the districts administrations to make sure that all markets, offices, Mandis and other business establishments are closed from 2200 hrs of Friday to 0500 hrs of Monday.
