COVID: 2234 fresh cases in UP , 44 deaths

Lucknow, Oct 12 (UNI) Altogether 2234 fresh cases of Covid-19 were reported on Monday in Uttar Pradesh while 3342 people have recovered.
It was for the first time after July 7 last that the number of fresh cases in the state came down to 2234 in a day after touching 71030 cases a day on September 11.
Now the total positive cases in the state has reached 4,39,161 of which 3,93,908 have recovered and 38815 were admitted to the hospitals or were in home isolation getting treatment.
