Five Raj MLAs test +ve for COVID-19

Jaipur, Sep 2 (UNI) Five Rajasthan MLAs have tested positive for novel coronavirus, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot informed on Wednesday.
Of the five, two MLAs -- Ramlal Jat of Mandal constituency and Rafeek Khan of Adarsh Nagar -- are from Congress while three MLAs -- Rajendra Rathore of Churu constituency, Ashok Lahoti of Sanganer and Arjun Lal Jeengar of Kapasan -- are from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
The Chief Minister wished them a speedy recovery.
Notably, with detection of 690 new cases in the state this morning, the number of infected people has increased to 83853, while five more lost their lives to the contagion pushing the toll to 1,074.
