Cong MLA Pargat Singh & SAD MLA Wadala among 125 patients tested Covid-19 positive

Jalandhar, Aug 26 (UNI) Covid-19 pandemic has no place to differentiate between the leaders of different political parties as Pargat Singh and Gurpratap Singh Wadala both legislators of the congress and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) respectively were found positive as per the Corona virus test report received by the civil hospital authorities here from the Faridkot Medical College said.

Both these two MLAs are among the list of 125 people tested positive Wednesday. Apart from them, 12 policemen at the PAP complex have also been detected positive whereas two more people died of Covid-19 on Wednesday taking the death toll to 145 people in the district. The tally of infected people also rose to 5689 while 3602 infected patients have been discharged after recovery from the civil hospital and other Covid Care Facilities in the district.
