Hoshiarpur, Sep 7 (UNI) Hoshiarpur district in Punjab on Monday reported six more deaths due to COVID-19, taking the death in the state to 65.
The number of COVID cases in the district also rose by 106 to reach 2,139 in the past 24 hours, the Civil Surgeon, Hoshiarpur Jasbir Singh said in a statement.
Giving details about the latest fatalities he further said that they were identified as a male of Katcha Toba, a 70 70 year old of Prahlad Nagar, both of them died at DMC and CMC Ludhiana, respectively, whereas 59 year old of Manak Dheri and 75 year old of Fatehgarh Niara died at a private hospital and in a Civil Hospital in Hoshiarpur, respectively.
