Jalandhar, Sep 10 (UNI) Making an emotional appeal to the people of Punjab, Health and Family Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on Thursday urged the people to come forward and undergo Covid testing as delayed reporting by the patients to the hospitals is the cause of concern in this battle against the pandemic.
The Minister, who held a review meeting on Covid-19 situation in Jalandhar with the health department, said state government and its machinery are working round the clock to halt the spread of the virus and we need support of everyone in the terms of quick reporting to the health department at the very onset of sickness or other symptoms.
He said as soon as someone develops fever or flu-like symptoms, he or she must get tested for Covid promptly so that treatment can be started at the earliest of the patients with co-morbidities.
