Lucknow, Dec 25 (UNI) All three patients of new variant of coronavirus, Omicron, in Uttar Pradesh have fully recovered.
During a high-level meeting on Saturday, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that a rise in COVID cases is being witnessed in the state. He said that in a genome sequencing report received on Friday one more case of Omicron variant was confirmed, but satisfactorily the person is now COVID negative. Besides, RT-PCR reports of all her 13 primary and 70 secondary contacts are negative.
He directed that continuous monitoring of their health should be done and genome sequencing should be carried out continuously. Currently, there is no active case of Omicron variant in the state.
