New lockdown rule in MP

Bhopal, July 20 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan averred on Monday that a total lockdown shall be imposed for two days a week in districts with high COVID-19 infection.
“Barring essential services, all activities will stand prohibited. Lockdown shall be in force on Sunday and the second day – either Saturday or Monday – will be decided in consultation with the District Crisis Management Group. Night curfew shall be universally clamped from 2000-0500 hrs. Excluding infection-free districts; all central, state government and private offices plus commercial establishments will function at 30 to 50 per cent capacity. In the event of any novel coronavirus sufferer being detected at privately-owned workplaces, the same shall be closed for a week,” the senior politician was officially quoted as saying while reviewing the situation via videoconferencing at Mantralaya.
