Corona positive corpse of a woman recovered after 3 days in Lucknow

Lucknow, Apr 21 (UNI) In a tragic case, a suspected corpse of a corona positive woman was lying in the house in the capital Lucknow for the past three days. The elderly woman reportedly died due to corona infection and her body was being eaten by dogs.
Reports said here on Wednesday an elderly widow woman named Savita (around 70) lived alone in Bharat Nagar under Madihau police station area. The woman had given a room on rent to three people of the village. During this time, the tenants went to their village in the panchayat elections and the woman was left alone at home. After being corona positive she remained at home and died.
When the neighbors smelled on Wednesday, the police was called and they broke the door of the house. The dead body was lying in the room and other animals along with dogs were scratching it. Somehow the dead body was sent to the Medical University in a private car fir postmortem. She had been living alone there since the death of her husband three years ago.
