Kapurthala, Sep 1 (UNI) Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Deepti Uppal said that a special campaign would be launched by the Health, Civil Administration, Police, Anganwadi Workers, Asha Workers and Guardian of Governance in rural and urban areas to curb the deaths due to Corona in the district. There will be more focus on testing people over the age of 60.
The Deputy Commissioner held a meeting with the administrative officials today in view of the rapidly increasing cases of Corona and the warning issued by the health experts regarding the serious nature of the Corona epidemic during the month of September.
During the meeting the Deputy Commissioner expressed his deep concern over the deaths due to corona in the district and said that joint teams of civil, police and health department were working hard to motivate the people and especially the victims of any disease, the elderly to get tested.
