COVID: J&K reports fresh 1251 +ve cases, Jammu witness spike of 520 cases

Jammu, Sep 5 (UNI) With a spike of 520 positive cases in Jammu district, the Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday said that 1,251 new positive cases of Novel Coronavirus (739 from Jammu division and 512 from Kashmir division) have been reported in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 42241.
According to the daily Media Bulletin, 15 COVID-19 fresh deaths have been reported, including 10 from Jammu division and five from Kashmir division.
Moreover, 489 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, including 123 from Jammu division and 366 from Kashmir division.
