Jammu, Oct 15 (UNI) Taking care of non-COVID patients, Jammu and Kashmir Health Department on Thursday said that more than 49,000 deliveries were conducted during the COVID19 pandemic in the period April 2020 to September 2020 in various government hospitals across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Non-COVID patients were given due care in J&K UT since the beginning of the pandemic," Atal Dullo, Financial Commissioner (Health and Medical Education) here told UNI.
He said this was despite the fact that it was difficult keeping in view the safety of the non-COVID patients, who were at risk of contracting Covid infections.
