J&K: Army with BMVSS hold camp for specially abled, distribute wheelchairs and crutches

Srinagar, Nov 16 (UNI) Army Chinar Corps in association with Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), a Jaipur based NGO conducted Artificial Limb Fitment Camps (ALFC) in several parts of Kashmir and distributed wheel chairs, crutches and artificial legs among the needy and specially abled people of valley, here on Tuesday.
Army defence Pubic Relation Officer (PRO) Emron Musavi said that he camp has enabled and empowered specially abled Kashmiri citizens including children under the theme, “Saksham Hum, Saksham Kashmir, Saksham Bharat” during which a total of 348 wheel chairs, 91 crutches, 480 hearing aids, 93 artificial legs and 13 artificial hands have been distributed among the needy persons.
He said, this step will have a far reaching positive impact on the lives of over 1100 specially abled Kashmiris.
