Mahila Mandal without water connection gets bills

Nahan/Shimla, Sep 12 (UNI) A Mahila Mandal of Satiwala Gram Panchayat received water bills, though the women body never applied for drinking water connection for the last 50 years.
A notice was served to the Mahila Mandal by Irrigation and Public Health Department asking to pay the water bills of Rs 5,664 with immediate effect.
However, the office-bearers of the organisation said that Mahila Mandal started nearly 50 years back and they do not have drinking water connection till today.
