Impose lockdown without delay: Former Himachal CM to incumbent

Dharamshala, May 3 (UNI) Former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Shanta Kumar on Monday urged Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur to immediately impose a lockdown in the state to contain the outbreak of COVID pandemic.
"Lockdown needs to be imposed so that the chain of Covid cases could be broken," the former CM averred.
Mr Kumar said that Kangra district was the worst affected because of the Covid 19 second wave which witnessed 418 deaths so far, so the lockdown has become inevitable.
