HP reports 48th death due to coronavirus, 9th in Kangra

Shimla, Sep 4 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh on Friday registered the 48th COVID death as a 67-yr-old woman succumbed to the virus, which incidentally was the 9th corona death recorded in Kangra.
Additional Cheif Secretary Health Mr R D Dhiman said that two patients died of nCoV on Friday increasing the death toll to nine in Kangra and three in Sirmaur district.
The death toll in Himachal Pradesh has now surged to 48 as 13 people died in Solan, Nine in Kangra, seven in Mandi Five in Hamirpur , four in Chamba and Shimla, three each in Una and Sirmaur.

Lucknow, Apr 20 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government is set to hold 'Road Safety Fortnight' in the state UP between April 22 to May 4 as in line with the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Transport Department will organise the campaign as part of its efforts to reduce road accidents by 50 percent.
