Covid-19 : Kangra records 49 new cases, one more death

Dharamshala, Nov 16 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur on Tuesday expressed concern over the rise in the number of Corona deaths in Kangra district and said that the government is keeping a watch on the situation.
He was talking to media persons at Police ground here today on his arrival for his one day tour to this hill town. He said that most of the deaths involved those patients who had opted for home isolation. He said that the elderly people have other health issues too so are more likely to succumb to the Corona virus.
He said that he held video conferencing with all Deputy Commissioners and Chief Medical Officers regarding the Covid issues.
