Covid : 1298 fresh cases & 15 deaths in Haryana

Chandigarh, Aug 28 (UNI) Haryana on Friday recorded 1298 new cases of COVID-19 along with fifteen more deaths from the virus, taking the total number of cases to 60,596 and death toll to 661 in the state.
According to the bulletin, the virus claimed three lives in Karnal district, two each in Rewari, Panipat and Panchkula and one life each in Faridabad, Rohtak, Kurukshetra, Hisar, Sirsa and Fatehabad districts today.
Faridabad district leads the number of infections in the state with 12304 confirmed cases, followed by Gurugram 11569, Sonepat 4176, Ambala 3510, Panipat 3332, Rewari 3331, Rohtak 2837, Karnal 2473, Hisar 2092, Panchkula 1979, Mahendergarh 1617, Kurukshetra 1572, Palwal 1453, Yamunanagar 1399, Bhiwani 1274, Sirsa 1210, Jhajjar 1166, Kaithal 933, Fatehabad 850, Nuh 720, Jind 533, Charkhi Dadri 266 and 21 US-returnee Haryana citizens.
