COVID: 2,457 fresh cases, 24 deaths in Haryana

Chandigarh, Sep 17 (UNI) Haryana on Thursday registered 2,457 new cases of COVID-19, while also recording 24 more fatalities due to the virus, taking the state's cumulative number of cases to 1,03,773 and death toll to 1069, the state health department said.
According to the department's bulletin, the virus claimed four lives in Hisar, three each in Karnal and Kurukshetra, two each in Faridabad, Ambala, Sirsa, Fatehabad and Yamunanagar and one life each in Panipat, Panchkula, Jhajjar and Nuh districts today.
The bulletin stated that among the new cases 394 were reported from Gurugram district, 282 from Faridabad, 271 from Sonipat, 177 from Karnal, 160 from Ambala, 159 from Panipat, 142 from Kurukshetra, 113 from Hisar, 112 from Panchkula, 82 from Sirsa, 80 from Mahendergarh, 72 from Yamunanagar, 64 from Jind, 59 from Bhiwani, 52 from Palwal, 50 from Rohtak, 49 each from Kaithal and Charkhi Dadri, 39 from Rewari, 27 from Jhajjar, 13 from Fatehabad and 11 new cases from Nuh district.
