Chandigarh, Sep 10 (UNI) Haryana on Thursday registered a record 2,591 new cases of COVID-19, while also recording 25 more fatalities due to the virus, taking the state's cumulative number of cases to 85,944 and death toll to 907, the state health department said.
According to the department's bulletin, the virus claimed four lives in Karnal, three each in Ambala, Panipat and Kurukshetra, two each in Rohtak, Fatehabad and Sirsa and one life each in Faridabad, Rewari, Bhiwani, Yamunanagar, Nuh and Jind districts today.
The bulletin stated that among the new cases 309 were reported from Gurugram district, 282 from Faridabad, 225 from Ambala, 199 from Panipat, 189 from Karnal, 180 from Kurukshetra, 174 from Panchkula, 131 from Yamunanagar, 115 from Hisar, 114 from Jhajjar, 112 from Sirsa, 110 from Rohtak, 83 from Sonipat, 81 from Rewari, 71 from Mahendergarh, 56 each from Palwal and Kaithal, 49 from Fatehabad, 36 from Bhiwani, 13 from Nuh, 4 from Jind and 2 new cases from Charkhi Dadri district.
