COVID-19: 2,277 fresh cases, 25 deaths in Haryana

Chandigarh, Sep 6 (UNI) Haryana on Sunday registered a record 2,277 new cases of COVID-19, while also recording 25 more fatalities due to the virus, taking the state's cumulative number of cases to 76,549 and death toll to 806, the state health department said.
According to the department's bulletin, the virus claimed four lives in Panchkula, three in Kurukshetra, two each in Faridabad, Ambala, Rohtak, Panipat, Karnal and Kaithal and one life each in Rewari, Hisar, Bhiwani, Sirsa, Yamunanagar and Fatehabad districts today.
The bulletin stated that among the new cases 306 were reported from Gurugram district, 276 from Faridabad, 246 from Karnal, 230 from Kurukshetra, 190 from Ambala, 175 from Panipat, 137 from Panchkula, 120 from Hisar, 91 from Rohtak, 76 from Sonipat, 71 from Bhiwani, 70 from Yamunanagar, 65 from Mahendergarh, 48 from Fatehabad, 46 from Jhajjar, 44 from Sirsa, 31 from Kaithal, 22 from Nuh, 15 from Palwal, 14 from rewari and 4 new cases from Charkhi Dadri district.
