First lot of Covid vaccines reach Lucknow from Pune

Lucknow, Jan 12 (UNI) The first lot of Covid-19 vaccine arrived at Amausi airport in the Uttar Pradesh capital on Tuesday.UP Director General, Health, D S Negi received the vaccines which were brought in a special aircraft from Pune.
The consignment of vaccines was parked in the cargo terminal where it was unloaded on special vehicles under strict supervision of CISF personnel.
Sources said that the vaccines will be sent to districts, from where it will be sent to the Primary Health Centres and Community Health Centres on the day when people will be vaccinated.
