Record 30,569 new Covid cases, 129 deaths in UP

Lucknow, Apr 18 (UNI) The second strain of coronavirus infection in the country's most populous state Uttar Pradesh has caused so much havoc that the entire management of the state government is crumbling under the pressure of surging Covid patients.

According to government figures on Sunday, 129 people have died in the last 24 hours due to corona infection as compared to 120 on Saturday. Records of death figures are also being made in the state in one day.
