Chhattisgarh reports record breaking number of 916 new Covid cases, four deaths

Raipur, Aug 20 (UNI) Chhattisgarh has reported a record number of 916 new Coronavirus patients and four deaths due to Coronavirus during the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 554 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery.
According to information received from health department 330 out of 916 fresh Coronavirus positive patients belong to Raipur whereas 183 patients were found in Durg, 28 in Dantewada, 37 in Sukma, 34 in Sarguja, 32 in Raigarh, 30 in Janjgir, 27 in Koriya, 20 each in Narayanpur and Kanker, 19 each in Korba and Jashpur, 17 in Surajpur, 16 in Rajnandgaon, 15 in Bilaspur, 14 in Kondagaon, 9 in Baloda-Bazaar, 8 each in Gariaband, Mungeli and Bijapur, 6 each in Dhamtari, Mahasamund and Bastar, 5 in Kawardha, 4 each in Bemetara and Balrampur and 1 patient in Balod. Process of their hospitalization is underway.
