Minister inaugurates MRI & CT SCAN centre in Ambala Cantt

Ambala, Aug 1(UNI) Haryana Health and Home Minister Anil Vij inaugurated the MRI and CT Scan centre installed at a cost of Rs six crore at the civil hospital Ambala Cantt Saturday.
Mr Vij said on the occasion that the patients would get all modern facilities of treatment under one roof in the hospital. He said that MRI machine would operate on PPP mode and it was updated perfectly. He added that every kind of MRI could be done on this machine.
The Minister Vij said that this machine had been installed with the public private partnership mode. He informed that this machine would be useful in performing the jobs of MRI with lesser time at moderate price. He said that this machine could do the MRI of the child of pregnant woman. The machine would do the MRI of the heart ailment and also of the brain within five minutes. He said that 50-60 kinds of MRIs could be made by this machine. He said that the MRI service would be provided free of cost to the unattended roadside accident cases.
