First Ramleela at Ayodhya to be star studded affair this Dussehra

Bollywood actors along with BJP’s star parliamentarians Ravi Kishan and Manoj Tiwari are also expected to participate in the grand event to be held from October 17-25.
Other names who are expected to perform in this year’s Ramleela include Bollywood actors Shahbaz Khan and Ashutosh Rana. The culture department of the UP government has submitted a proposal for the Dussehra event in Ayodhya that includes performances by some foreign artists as well, official sources here on Wednesday said.
The cast of the act is also said to have been finalised. According to available information, Ravi Kishan, who represents Gorakhpur in the Lok Sabha, will be playing the role of Bharat, Manoj Tiwari will play Angad, Bindu Dara Singh will play the character of Hanuman, while Shahbaz Khan, who played a key role in a popular TV serial on Chandrakanta, is expected to be cast as Ravana.

War against COVID-19: MP’s body count rises to 2,885

Bhopal, Oct 25 (UNI) The fatality figure owing to the ‘millennium scourge’ mounted to 2,885 on Sunday in Madhya Pradesh where ten fresh demises were reported even as the infected tally touched 1,67,249 with 951 more sufferers being detected during analysis of 31,101 specimens.
A Health Services Directorate bulletin issued tonight pegged the active cases at 11,237 – a statistic that has been providentially witnessing a downward trend of late. Indore District continued to have the dubious distinction of spawning the highest 263 new instances, Bhopal 213, Jabalpur 54, Sagar 40, Gwalior 27, Betul 22, Khargone 21, Rewa 20, Hoshangabad 15, Seoni 13 and Vidisha 12. A total 711 fever clinics are operating across the state.
