Ayodhya, Nov 3 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said the construction of a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya was a matter of pride for the whole country and it was also a proud moment for him at a personal level, as he was a third generation member of his family to join this movement.
Speaking to reporters here, Adityanath, who reached Ayodhya to attend the Deepotsav programme, said the construction of a grand temple on Ram Janmabhoomi, which was considered a mammoth task by the world, had been made possible in Ayodhya.
Describing it as the strength of India's democracy, he said it was the victory of faith of Indians.
"Uttar Pradesh has become a focal point of faith in India and the Central and state governments are working in a coordinated manner for the all-round development of Ayodhya, the spiritual city of the state. A grand Ram temple is being constructed here, which is likely to increase religious tourism as well," he added.
Describing Ayodhya's Deepotsav as the programme of the country, he said that five years ago, such an event was not organised, it was only when the BJP government came to power that Deepotsav was started.
He assured that all the work including the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya would be completed in a time-bound manner.
