CCSHAU Hisar organised a three-day training programme

Chandigarh, Oct 11 (UNI) Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar organied a three-day training programme at its Saina Nehwal Institute of Agricultural Technology Training & Education. The trainees were imparted information about ways to increase income through coordinated farming system at this training programme. The main theme of the training was to increase the income of farmers through ‘Integrated Farming System’.
Dr. Sandeep Bhakar, Assistant Director (Training), Saina Nehwal Agricultural Technology Training and Education Institute, while giving information about various schemes being run by the government for integrated farming system, told the participants that the government also gives subsidy on bee-keeping, dairy farming, mushroom farming, various components of integrated farming system, including production, protected cultivation of vegetables and flowers. He also gave detailed information to the participants about preparing the proposal for subsidy.
During the closing ceremony of the training programme, Dr. Ashok Kumar Godara, co-director (training) of Saina Nehwal Agricultural Technology Training and Education Institute, appealed to the trainees to take the maximum benefit of this training programme. He added that the participants can be self-employed after taking training from here. Around 35 participants took part in this training online, including farmers, women and youth of the state as well as participants from other states. He informed that training programmes are organized on behalf of the institute for skill development, including horticulture, bee-keeping, and mushroom farming. At the conclusion of the online training programme, the participants were given e-certificates.
