Deputy Chief Whip Pathania inspects rain-hit areas in Shahpur; CM announces ₹10 Lakh for damaged bridge

Shahpur, (Kàngra) Aug 13 (UNI) Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania undertook a foot march to assess damage in rain-affected areas of his constituency, including Naushahra, Baldi, Boduserna, and Kareri. He was accompanied by officials from various departments.
Inspecting a damaged bridge between Baldi and Dharmotha, Pathania noted that the collapse had completely cut off Dharmotha village from Baldi. He immediately apprised Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu of the situation via video call. Responding swiftly, the Chief Minister announced Rs.10 lakh for the bridge reconstruction.
Pathania later visited Sarna village, where a pucca house belonging to resident Prem Chand was completely destroyed in the rains. He extended condolences to the affected family and handed over Rs. 11,000 as financial aid from the Shahpur Welfare Society.
