Bhind, MP, Oct 28 (UNI) In a frontal assault on Madhya Pradesh’s “graft-ridden” predecessor Congress dispensation, erstwhile chief minister Uma Bharati accused it of turning Nelson’s eye to the state’s development and plunging it into gloom during 15 months in power that witnessed the indigent being deprived of their rights plus public welfare schemes being placed on the back-burner.
“These by-polls comprise a war of truth versus falsehood, of nationalists pitted against anti-nationals,” the firebrand sadhvi – who led the saffron camp to a historic victory in the 2003 Assembly elections – thundered while addressing a rally in Mehgaon constituency’s Gormi.
