New UP primary teachers will be posted in student-teacher ratio affected schools

Lucknow, Oct 21(UNI) The newly appointed 31,277 assistant teachers in the government primary schools in Uttar Pradesh would be given their first appointment in conformity with the provisions of Free and Compulsory Child Education Rights Rules 2011 in order to maintain prescribed teacher student ratio.
A circular to this effect was issued by the Additional Chief Secretary, Basic Education, here on Wednesday to all the District Magisterates and Director, Basic Education, UP, to maintain total transparency and adherence to rules in this regard.
The newly appointed teachers will not be posted in the schools where the teacher student ratio is already saturated. The counselling of new teachers at district level will be conducted from October 26 to 28, the allotment of the schools will be done on October 29 and 30 while the joining of the teachers will be from October 31 to November 3.
