Rajasthan extends summer school timings till Oct 31

Jaipur, Sep 30 (UNI) The Rajasthan government on Wednesday announced the decision to extend the summer school timings in government schools in the state till October 31, in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Taking to his twitter, Minister for School Education Govind Singh Dotasra, said, "Taking a decision on teachers and students interest on the outbreak of Coronavirus and the demand of teacher organizations, the summer school timing is extended till October 31, making partial amendments to the camp program. Time change of state government schools will now be from November 1.”
The earlier decision of the state government was to run the government schools with the summer timings from April 1 to September 30 and the winter school timings were set to be applicable from October 1 to March 31.
