Punjab Education dept to conduct survey of achievements of govt schools

Chandigarh, Aug 4 (UNI) Furthering its latest initiatives, the Punjab school education department has decided to conduct a survey of the achievements of all government and government aided schools as per the directions of Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla.
Regarding the preparation of this survey to be conducted by the school education department under the supervision of the Minister, School Education Secretary Krishan Kumar reviewed the arrangement of 'Punjab Achievement Survey' in a detailed online meetings with the DPIs, Nodal Officers, District Education Officers, Block Primary Education Officers and other officials.
Stating this here on Tuesday, a spokesperson for the department said that this survey would test the quality of education in the government and government aided schools of the state during the current academic session 2020-21.
