Minister hails move to restart college

Bhopal, Sep 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Public Works, Cottage and Rural Industries Minister Gopal Bhargava on Wednesday welcomed the state dispensation’s decision vis-à-vis restarting the horticulture college in Sagar District’s Rehli – under affiliation to the Jabalpur-based Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University – and expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
“In August 2018, the then state government bestowed a tremendous gift to Bundelkhand region by deciding to establish the academic institution – the second of its kind in the state. Candidates selected by the Professional Examination Board were granted admission for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 sessions. Three semesters were also completed. On March 6, the predecessor regime decided to cease operating the centre of learning due to political reasons,” the veteran leader was officially quoted as saying.
