Haryana govt approves State Teacher Award Policy-2020

Chandigarh, Sep 16 (UNI) Taking significant steps in the interest of the hardworking and dedicated teachers of government and aided-schools, Haryana government has approved the ‘State Teacher Award Policy-2020’.
This policy will be deemed applicable from August 29, 2020 in place of the policy formulated in the year 2016. The state awards will be approved as per the new policy in future, an official spokesperson said here on Wednesday.
He said that under the ‘State Teacher Award Policy-2020’, the teachers will be given these awards under two categories. The first category includes, Principal, Headmaster of High School and PGT teachers in all subjects, while in the second category, Primary Teacher, Head Teacher, C&V and TGT Teacher of all subjects and Elementary School Head Master (Middle Head).
