Khattar approves 5 pc hike in honorary pension for retd staff of aided colleges across Haryana

Chandigarh, Nov 20 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved an increase in the honorarium pension by five per cent for the retired teaching and non-teaching staff working in aided colleges across the state.
This increase will be made every year from November 1, 2021. With this decision, all the retired teaching and non-teaching employees of aided colleges will get relief.
Giving this information on Saturday, an official spokesperson said this was a long standing demand of the retired teaching and non-teaching staff of aided colleges. This five per cent increase will be made on the basic pension every year and no arrears will be paid. The employees will be given the benefit of notional pension.
