Campaign against adulteration in MP

Bhopal, Nov 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan underlined on Wednesday that – in order to scotch the evil of adulteration – the Milawat se Mukti Abhiyan is being launched across the state with commoners’ cooperation.
“Names of individuals disclosing information will not be revealed,” the senior politician was officially quoted as assuring while flagging off nine air-conditioned mobile laboratories – under Health Department supervision – for the state’s divisions from Mantralaya. Thus, preliminary testing of urea, detergents, potable water, sugar, edible oil and other daily use items such as cheese, milk and spices may be executed on the spot. Televisions and loudspeakers have also been installed in these vehicles that are capable of conducting a total 102 types of tests.
