Chandigarh, Aug 29 (UNI) Haryana Cooperation Minister Dr Banwari Lal has said that now cooperative sugar mills of the state will also produce jaggery and sugar.
Sharing this information while addressing various people in village Rajiyaki of Rewari district, he informed that the production of jaggery and sugar in the cooperative sugar mills of Palwal, Kaithal and Meham will be started in the new season and after getting fruitful results, the other cooperative sugar mills will also produce jaggery and sugar.
The Minister, who was here to inaugurate various developmental works, said that efforts are also being made to produce ethanol in cooperative sugar mill plant of Shahabad.
