ERSS Dial 112 service to completed by Dec: Vij

Chandigarh, Oct 13 (UNI) Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Tuesday said the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) Dial 112 service will be completed in the state by December 30, 2020, making emergency services, apart from police, available in any area of the state within a span of 15 to 20 minutes.
Presiding over the review meeting of Police Department in Panchkula in this regard, Mr Vij said this is a revolutionary step taken by the Haryana Police, which will facilitate the people of the state in case of emergency.
He said for the smooth functioning of the system, a new building has been constructed at a cost of about Rs 40 crore and C-DAC has been given a work order of about Rs 152 crore.
