Daughter succumbs hours after SPO, wife killed in militant attack in Pulwama

Srinagar, Jun 28 (UNI) The daughter of the SPO and his wife who were killed in a militant attack in south Kashmir district of Pulwama Sunday night also succumbed on Monday morning, official sources said.
A police spokesman said that a group of armed militants barged into the house of Special Police Officer (SPO) Fayaz Ahmad at village Hariparigam Awantipora in Pulwama district last night and fired indiscriminately with automatic weapons.
He said Fayaz, his wife and daughter were injured critically in the militant firing. However, they were immediately rushed to hospital where SPO and his wife succumbed. Daughter of SPO also succumbed this morning in the S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS).
