Lucknow, Aug 24(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday suspended two IPS officers for their involvement in corrupt practices and other irregularities.
According to official sources said that both the officials-- DIG rules and manuals Dinesh Chandra Dubey and DIG PAC, Agra Arvind Sen were put under suspension with immediate effect.
State home department sources here said that Dubey was found involved in helping some people in getting contract for construction of Kasturba hostels in Shivgarh, Bacharwa,Rae Bareli and Sadabad under the nodal agency UPSIDCO.
Besides, he even used his influence to give contract to his close contact of the construction of a bus stand and a Divyang building in Lucknow.
Sources said Sen was involved in corruption and fraud in the animal husbandry department.
