UP woman strangled to death by husband, in-laws for dowry

Kaushambi, Oct 30 (UNI) A 20-year-old woman was strangled to death allegedly for dowry in Sandeepan Ghat area of Kaushambi district in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Wednesday.
The sources said that Sapna, a resident of Mahagaon village, got married with Sudama alias Arjun, a resident of Raghunathpur Colony, three months back. "Sapna's family members have alleged that since marriage her in-laws were tourturing her for additional dowry," they said.
The sources also said that the deceased's family members alleged that on Tuesday night Sapna's husband and in-laws strangled her to death.
