Wanted miscreant carrying bounty of 50k held from MP

Lucknow, Nov 13 (UNI) Sleuths of the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh police arrested a wanted miscreant, carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 and belonging to a gang involved in extortion through 'hawala,' the STF sources said here on Friday.
As per the sources, the STF team arrested Rajesh Kumar alias Santosh Dubey from Ratlam district in Madhya Pradesh's Gandhinagar on Wednesday.
They said an inter-state organised gang had held some people, hailing from Naroda in Ahmedabad of Gujarat hostage, after calling them in Varanasi's Cantt area on November 22, 2019 through social media on the pretext of providing them jobs and visas in the US and Canada.
