Inspector among three suspended in UP's Bulandshahr

Bulandshahr, Jul 22 (UNI) Three policemen, including the Sub-Inspector of the Bugrasi police outpost, were suspended on charges of extorting money after threatening to implicate a man in a murder case, police said on Wednesday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Santosh Kumar Singh here said that one Rafi had been murdered after being attacked with a knife in the Bugrasi town on July 14. Police had arrested Raees Azam on charges of the murder and based on the clues provided by him, the cops had recovered some blood-stained clothes from the terrace of his neighbour Naushad.
He said that Inspector Rishi Pal Singh threatened to implicate Naushad in the murder case and send him to jail through Head Constable Pradeep Baliyan and Constable Sarsa. They also extorted Rs 40,000 from him whose written complaint Naushad later made to the SSP.
