Municipality Chairman among four booked for gang-rape in UP

Jaunpur, Oct 7 (UNI) Four people, including the Chairman of the Municipality of Mungrabadshahpur, have been directed to be booked in a case pertaining to the rape of a woman of the Scheduled Caste here, police said on Wednesday.
Additional Sessions Judge SC/ST Act had ordered the police to file the report.
Following the court's order, police said that a married woman had filed an application under Section 156 (3) that she is living with her parents. Municipality Chairman Shiv Govind Sahu, Arvind, Santlal and Ashish allegedly raped her on March 11 and started blackmailing her after making a video of the same.
