Lakhimpur violence: Forensic report confirms use of three types of weapons

Lakhimpur Kheri, Nov 9 (UNI) Amidst the ongoing SIT investigation in the Lakhimpur violence case, the forensic report that came before the security agencies has revealed the use of three types of weapons in the firing during the violence.

Police sources said on Tuesday that the forensic report received in the Lakhimpur violence case has revealed the use of three types of weapons. The report has come in a sealed cover. Bullets were fired from a rifle, repeater gun, and pistol. Four farmers, a journalist, a car driver, and two BJP workers were killed in the violence that took place on October 3. In this case, the police have booked more than 15 people including Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni, his friend Ankit Das and his security guard Latif.
