UP: PRD jawan dies after being hit with iron rod

Kushinagar (UP), Nov 10 (UNI) A Prantiya Rakshak Dal (PRD) jawan died after being hit by an iron rod allegedly by a mentally deranged man in Hanumanganj area of Kushinagar district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Sunday.
Police sources said that PRD jawan Ramakant Tiwari (58), a resident of Khadda, was deployed at Chhitauni town crossing on Saturday night.
"A mentally deranged man, who was roaming in the area, was stopped by the police for questioning," they said.
